Tank-Mix of 5 Insecticides on the Green Peach Aphid, Myzus persicae
Abstract
Myzus persicae, which damages tobacco, cabbage, peppers, and peaches, is consistently reported to be resistant to insecticides due to the continuous use of insecticides. In this study, the combined effect was confirmed by insecticide mixtures, and a field test was conducted on insecticide mixture (λ-cyhalothrin + flupyradifurone, λ-cyhalothrin + dimpropyridaz, flupyradifurone + chlorfenapyr, λ-cyhalothrin + dimpropyridaz, flupyradifurone + chlorfenapyr, and flupyradifurone + dimpropyridaz) which showed high combined effect in laboratory bioassay. As a result, the control effects of 4 insecticide mixture were over 97% against M. persicae, and they show the potential to be useful in the field.
